Rajah & Tann Singapore is pleased to have joined the United Nations Global Compact (“UNGC”) as part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices.
The UNGC is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with a mission to promote social and environmental responsibility among businesses worldwide. We commit to align our strategies and operations with the UNGC’s Ten Principles related to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and take actions that advance societal goals and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals that seeks to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

Our sustainability vision involves a commitment to integrate climate positive best practices into our strategic decision-making and day-to-day business activities.
Our Sustainability Framework is monitored and driven by our Chief
Sustainability Officer, supported by our Regional Management Council and implemented by a cross-functional “Act Now” Team. This framework allows us to lead the charge in improving and tracking our network’s sustainability journey in an authentic and progressive manner through a net-zero science-based approach and enables us to prioritise areas where we can make the greatest contribution.
We commit to upholding our tradition and duty of care, and aim to be a beacon of trust in the community. Clients who work with us will know that we are uncompromising in the quality of our work and will work closely with them to be greener in their business plans. Given the ethical standards that we hold ourselves to, we will continue to strengthen our corporate governance guidelines and our anti-corruption practices.

Fully aware of our responsibility to the communities we operate in, we constantly explore ways in which we can serve the community at large through pro bono work as well as charitable donations made through the Rajah & Tann Foundation – the vehicle through which Rajah & Tann Singapore launches its charitable programmes and contributions. It is also the first charity foundation to be set up by a law firm in Singapore.
